The Race to Death's Door is the latest film written and directed by Julian Austwick. It will be shown in competitions over the next few months.

 

Trailer for a new film

Jack Reid's Short Cut stars Julian Austwick as a shy birdwatcher.  It is Jack's first fiction film and he was assisted by experienced filmmakers Ann and Arthur Fletcher.

 

Paula Webster 5 Stars

Paula Webster won 5 Stars and Best Photography at BIAFF with her film Tango in the Wind. Here Gordon Hunt is presenting her with the trophy.

Premiere of A Helping Hand

Debbie Daniels showed her new film A Helping Hand at the Club on 8th February 2018.  It is a heartwarming story of a man who can't sleep at night.  Watch out for it in competitions soon.

New club film online

Prepare to be scared!  Watch Andy Wills' "The Attic". A group of SCMM members spent a week in Wales in rented holiday cottages to make the film.  The cottages doubled up as the location.

Award winners

Julian Austwick's delightful film "Friends", won FIVE STARS at BIAFF.  Well done Julian and co-stars Jack Grainger and Fiona Dunn.  Another brilliant result for Sutton Coldfield Movie Makers!

Making films together
